A Messaage to Everyone...

I've had a few inquires about when everyone can come pick out their puppy. At five weeks old, we will need to go in order of the waiting list. So I will be emailing everyone individually to schedule a time. Please email me back, so we can get this set up :)

Some good news!

After much consideration, I have decided to send the puppies home at 7 weeks old. By that time they will already have their 2nd shot (one at 5 wks, one at 7 wks) so keeping them the extra week isn't necessary. What that means is the new date for going home is May 5th! Please allot time in between May 5th and 9th to bring your new baby home :) If you have any questions, please email me.

New Pictures

Here are some updated pictures of the puppies. They are already six days old! I put ribbons on them so we can start to determine which ones are which. It's so hard taking pictures without some kind of indicator. These are the colors they will remain, and when older their collars will be the same color. :)

Dewclaw Day!

Today the puppies had their dewclaws removed! They all did really well. There were a couple that thought they were dying, screamed so loud my ears hurt. I can't say I blame them, but they started yelping before the event happened :)
All the puppies are eating really well...all little piggies :o) They are growing so fast, I can't wait until they open their eyes! (between 10 days-2 weeks of age)

Sad day.....

Today was rough. I thought for sure our little runt was going to make it, but today his battle ended. He wasn't eating, so we had to resort to tube feeding. However he was just too weak starting out his young life.

On a positive side, we still have 8 very healthy puppies who seem to be getting bigger already! Here are individual pictures of them.

I've had a couple questions about the puppies, so I'll put some common answers here for all of you. The puppies must be chosen at 5 weeks of age (apprx April 21st-26th) This is when they will receive their first vaccination and everyone will be able to come over (determined by waiting list picking order) and pick out their new puppy. If unable to come over and personally pick out your puppy when your time comes, that is okay, but you must still pick which puppy you want when it is your turn. Puppies will be ready to go home starting May 12th. You will not have to wait your turn to pick up your puppy because everyone will have already picked which one they want. I've also had inquires about color and coat, and all I can say is it's too early to tell at this point :) Some of the dark puppies may turn chocolate...not sure yet.
